I am going to give birth to twin girls in Aug,03. I already have one kid and I think i won't be able to support 3 babies so I want to give one of my girls to an Indian family willing to adopt a baby. We are in US. Anyone interested pls let me know.

I do not know what has lead you to the choice of placing only one of your twins- rather then either keeping both of them or placing them together.
However- I would think it might be that if you can find it a very open adoption where the girls may visit each other and share their lives somehow. We are not Indian but we are wishing to adopt a baby girl/twins please email me if you have not made a choice and would consider us - so that we may get to know one another. Even if we do not match I would be glad of a new friend. Wishing you and yours the very best.

i am sorry about all the negative comments on this site about your decision. it is your decision and i don't think anybody has a right to make a judgement without knowing your situation.

i am in the process of going through ivf number two. we want to have children so desperately and are trying to do everything in our power.

i think the gift of life is the best thing any human being can give another person. your daughter, if you do decide to give her up, can make a couple's life complete and she can have a wonderful life.

i wish you the best of luck. and please do what is best for your daughter and you.

I can understand no one knows what Ritu is going through. But the fact that she lives in US make its quite clear that financially they are sound. Then what could be the reason that a mum wants to separate a child from herself.

I know a very good friend of mine who got triplets and not very financially sound, but yes the children have grown so beautifully and the mother is so happy now. She had taken a lot of pains for 3 years or so but now she is so happy. How can a mother separate herself from her child, i dont think any explanation holds good on this issue.

I am sorry for your decision in separating the twins.Even now you still feel like giving one of the baby for adoption, please let me know. I have already adopted a girl baby two years back legally and would like to adopt one more, as I cannot have my own. I am from Hyderabad, India.

Kindly let me know your details, if you are comfortable, if you are not committed to somebody else. Make sure, to whomever you are going to give for adoption, forget about your child and don't ever try to ask for the baby in future, as it may leads to problems, especially for the baby.
