My son Ishan is 2yr n 4months. It is advised not to get kids admitted to preschool until they are 2yr and 6 month 1s but he gets bored at home all day long. so v got him admitted but now im worried about how comfortable he is at school. the school timings are 9.30 to 3p but with a request im getting him back by 1p. He doesnt speak fully as of now which has added to my concern about his school going. suggestions pls.. Nirali replied. In which city ur located?

their pre-school timings are from 9:00 to 11:00 only and they have day care facility also.

I think 2 yrs 4 months is not very early for a preschool. The earlier you expose your child, and allow your child to mingle with other children it would be help him open up.. you will be surprised to see how soon he will start talking fully and also clear in his pronunciations.. My daughter started her preschool when she was just 2.. She went to Eurokids.. My husband is a doctor.. Even he was okay with out daughter going to school at the age of.. Simply because preschool does not pressurize children..Atleast i can assure about Eurokids.. It was more of interacting and playing.. So I dont think you should worry so much.. So it is perfectly fine to send him to a preschool at the age of 2 years, provided they are giving good facilities and taking proper care of your child. My daughter also went to a preschool - DEWS School Panchkula, franchise of Mothers Pride chain at the age of 2 years. I was very happy with the infrastructure, care, activities and the learning at the school.
