Hi Ladies,

My body is too hot. I am into my 8th of pregnancy Even though I am drinking lot of water and fruit juices, I feel very hot. Any suggesstions please ??

Hi Anu,
Congrats to u, I am in my 8th week too.
I too feel heat, esp around my abdomen, try drinking tender coconut and lot of curd and buttermilk. Try to have oil bath once a week.
Hope we all feel great in the weeks to come and enjoy our pregnancy

hai anu,
first of all congrats. i am also in my 8th week. i checked with my ob/gyn she said its perfectly normal. you are expected to feel a little warm as your body temp. is elevated.
i guess take a cool shower, ice pack worked great for me, at night especially. always keep a water bottle with you wherever you go.

hi anu
i'm in the same boat..its due to the hormonal changes in the body..there isnt much u can do about it....just wear light cotton clothes inside house or maybe try to trun the heat low.
also..do u have a humidifier at home...that really helps coz it doesnt let the air be too dry around you.
