Aches and Pains:after pregenancy gestational diabeties

Name: raj my wife is suffering from gestational diabeties. she faced section-C. after delivery diabeties is going normal. now 3 months complete. we go again diabities doctor for A1G check up. his percentage is 5.7 diabeties doctor said everyhting going fine. Then
Why Doctor Wrote Some Medicine named: METBAY*500
marketed by: Bayer Pharmaceuticals pvt ltd.
is she still need diabeties medicine at this percentage.
if doctor said everything going then why he wrote medicine
plz suggest .
your suggestion is benenifical for me.

IS my wife need any type of diabeties medicine.....
