Hi, Is it okay to send an 8 month old baby to a daycare. Is there anybody who have send their lil ones to daycare before 1 year.

Indu Hetal replied. hi, its ok for 8 month old to go to a licenced day care. the only drawback of sending a baby before 1 year is his body getting vunerable to infections. and if before 1 year too many times infections occur, you will be compensating on your baby internal growth, as his body will keep fighting alongwith all the vaccines and medicines against the infections. this will result in slow internal growth..the reason being, until 1 year to 1.5 year, babies body whole attention is to grow and grow...and in that if something goes wrong for a while, the growth retards abit.
other than that,if you are lucky enough that you get the daycare with good health kids who dont get infections very often or has a separate play area with babies or kids not feeling well or sick,,then its not a big problem. also, good thing about day care,is kids love to be with kids and they learn earlier than what they learn at home. growth in terms, of achieving early crusing milestones like crawling, standing, walking, running sometimes tumbling and jumping too,or talking or blabbering or learning other things from bigger kidss.also they learn things to share and being in the crowd !
all this however,depends on babies own growth too.
all together if you have no other way but to keep him to daycare,,its better than keeping an unexperienced nanny or unlicensed nanny..however if you know someone personally & trustworthy and knows well to take care of baby at home, thats a good option too !!
