Daughter at the age of 13 has entered into puberty and now moving on to emotional development, looking for self-identity and own decision making. Mother have to change role from best mother to her best friend. Discuss teenge issues with her. Explain truly the reason behind saying NO for watching movie with friends. Group dating with same gender in early teens is normal and group dating with mix group in late teens is also normal. Build trust so that she can inform the true names of her friends. Know her friends as well as their parents. Invite her friends to your home. She will slowly develop her own identity with your support. Dr. Jyot from teensNparents
