Infertility Solutions:Travelling after IUI pregnancy

Name: rachna

Hi all,
Yesterday, we came to know that I am pregnant after my second IUI. Now we have the plans to go to our hometown during diwali. We had booked all the tkts months in advance. Now my dr. says not to travel at all. There is no problem as such. I am now 5 weeks pregnant. We both are very very willing to go and have a good break from our daily routine. can anyone suggest.

tks

Hi rachana

Now that you have got this precious pregnacy with IUI why risk it dear. You can always go later. You don't want to repent for it.

Hi Rachna,
Congrats!
It is not advisable to travel by air during the 1st trimestor unless its absolutely essential to travel. Why take a risk especially since u had to take treatment to get pregnant. U can travel in your second trimestor. Whebn I was expecting, Dr. said no travelling by air at all during 1st trimestor. She said I can travel by train in the 4th mth.
