Vidhi,

As far as I know, my mom said no bhendi. Because its gassy for the baby. At the same time I heard recently from one of our neighbours, saying bhendi is really good for baby. So I am really not sure about this one.

Lets do some research on this :)

Hi Reshmi,

You are welcome. And yes we can start using maternity belt from day 1 for normal delivery. Or if you use little late also it will still work.

My due date is 24th Aug. And I am expecting a baby girl.

Thank you all

Anita

Good questions....
1. Maternity Belt - we can start using after normal delivery (which I used with my first pregnancy) (I am not sure about C-section). No idea about Sauna belt.
2. Excercise - Its not safe to do excercise untill 6 weeks after delivery. So eat happyly and take rest for that time. :)
3. Post Delivery Diet - Yes, we should follow a diet inorder to avoide gas problems for baby. As I know we better eat Turia(ridged gaurd),Karela(bitter gaurd),garlic power for chapathi(roti),light butter milk (no full fat yogurt),no spices....and there are some more. I will post to here as I get more.
4. To Increase milk production - take fenugric seads (menthulu) as seads itself or some gujarathes make methi laddu and eat it. Also eat garlic more. These produces milk a lot.

Hope I answered all your questions.
Thanks to all the moms for your support.

See you all here

bye bye
Take care

Anita
