Hi Friends,

I am 24 years old and I have an oily skin type.

I am getting married in Februaury.

Please answer the below mentioned questions that I have.

1. I got pimples when I wsa a teenager,I didnt gave much attention to it and so the
post pimple marks are still there.Moreover I have got post pimple marks on my back too.
I desperately want to get rid of them as I have to wear sarees on my wedding
day.Please suggest me any remedy that is very effective and that will help me get
rid of the scars on my face and on my back quickly.
I have been doing facial since 2 months.Though it has proved a lil benefecial for me
but I am not able to lighten my scars.
I have been following a beauty regimein of cleansing,toning and mositurising since a
couple of months which has helped me in preventing the new breakouts.
So now my main concern is the scars that have been left behind by pimples on my face
and back.Please help me in getting rid of these.

2. Also Please suggest me what brand cosmetics should I buy and what all should be
included in it like basic makeup things which a newly wed bride should have?
As I am not that fond of makeup I have negligible idea about it but I would like
to know about it as I want to look my best on the wedding day.

3. Also please suggest me that what kind of innerwears and nightwears should I buy.
What brand it should be and all?


Please help me ladies in answering my questions.I will be ever grateful to you all

1) Drink lots & lots of water. U can take Safi(medicated syrup) for cleaning blood. Good Facial also helps.
Morning jogging will be good.

2) Lakme/ Revlon / Maybelline they all r good brands. So u can buy thr products without hesitation. Foundation, Compact, Eyeliner, Kajal, Lipstick, lipgels, lipliner,bindis, nailpaints r required. But dont buy too many.

U book a good parlour in ur area and u will look best.

3) For innerwears lovable is a good brand. Go to a nighty shop. They can show u many options of wedding night dresses. Choose 2-3 different style pink, red, lemon options.Thr r many styles like pajama style, st skirt type, plain strap nighty etc.

1) It will take time to lighten scars..but you can try home made face packs - mix sandalwood, pinch of turmeric, orange peel, rose water and put it once a day. You can put yogurt+turmeric+ lime juice for 15 minutes also. Do this every day. It will lighten and tone your skin.

Never, ever forget to clean your face before going to bed.

2)Revlon and maybelline brands are good. You can buy at least 1 brown and 1 dark maroon lipstick. These colors look good on most skin types.

Eyeliner also makes your eyes look good.

A good quality compact powder after putting on moisturizer will even out your face

3) Buy a couple of silk nighties...with some lace etc. You can go for black, red colors. kk replied. 1. i ma not aware
2.buy a foundation(lakme) suited for yor skin type..it wil cost around 100..buy lakme compact powder..it wil cost 100..eyeliner(blacl or colored),kaajal,lip liner...lipstick (2-3 colors)..mascara(if u want) for eye make up and lip make up u can choose elle 28 or lakme...

i have told u only budget brands...u also have revlon etc which r costly

3.buy 2-3 panty-bra set ....and night wear depends on u...wheter u want pyjama set type or whatever..buy inner wear in colors like pink,light purple, or black suhani replied. hi neha..

first of all congrates and best wishes for your marriage. you have a lot of time for improving your skin. so my suggestions are like this...

1. for reducing your acne marks, you can go for facial(especially bleaching as it will help a lot). i did my facial from lakme beauty saloon and it really helped me in improving the marks. you can apply mederma cream too. although its costly but its quite effective.

2. about your makeup kit, dont buy too much of cosmetics if you dont like makeup.
- you can have 3-4 dark shades of lipsticks. dont buy much as if you buy too much now it get spoiled.
- a foundation( it should be cream based and not watery as it will improve your oily skin) and compact powder
- sunscreen lotion
- a basic eye shadow kit having neutral colours like pink, brown etc
- eyeliner
- a lots of bindiz(6-7 packs if you like)

you can now buy this and if you want something more you can buy it after marriage after seeing condition.

at this moment i can think only of this.. hope this helps. actually i too bought too much for my marriage and it has been one year and still all is remaining becoz i too dont like too much of makeup.
