Name: Dr.Aarti.

Hi,
My son is 6 and a half mnths now.he weighs 6.7kgs and 68 cms.My pediatrician says his weight is ok for his age but less compared to his birth wt (3.55 kg).
He is a very active baby and is already crawling and sitiing and standing. He is not a fussy eater but does not eat too much at a time so /i give him every 2 hrs.
At present morning he has baby rusk with milk as sooon as he gets up.Thenhe has rice dal with carrots/potatoes with a little ghee and milk. Then i breastfeed him in the aftternoon twice. At around 4 I again give him baby rusk and milk. Then he has the same rice combination in the evening. At night before sleeping and whenever he gets up (2-3 time) I breastfeed him.
I tried apples boiled and mashed and raagi but he dislkes it and vomits. Can anyone please tel me some food which will help him gain weight.

RE:The Parents Guide to Healthy Snacking
So my sister’s child is a very fussy eater. She generally makes veggie cheese rolls or sandwiches to get her to eat her vegetables. She tries to use colourful and pretty veggies to get her to eat. Giving smoothies, fruit salads and milkshakes is another appetizing and attractive method.
