Hey girls. Hope you had a nice weekend. Just checked out the cartoons and ppt presentation, very amusing....and some could be very true! Well done.
The weather is getting hotter in UK, worst hot spell in 13 yrs...so not looking forward to this week ahead....apart from that my headaches are not improving much! Doc appointment end of the mth, glucose test that is. NO U/S test due for whole of pregnancy....only if there is any complication, which I am not wishing for!
Take care ladies.

Avi replied. Hey Simmi and Rekha, I am glad you guys enjoyed the baby stuff :)
Sorry to hear about the heat Simmi, I went through it a couple of weeks back so I can feel ya. Headaches must be bad too... so sorry........
I am almost in the same boat as you guys. My days are really long during the week though. I wake up at 5 am, drive 40 mins, take a train for 40 mins, take a bus for 10 mins, sit in class for 3 hours, take a train for 40 mins, get some lunch, drive 20 mins, go to work for 6 hrs and sit there till my behind hurts, drive bak home for 40 mins and my day isn't done yet - I have to do my HW, study for midterms, figure out what to eat, eat and hopefully go to bed by 1 am....... :)...Wake up the next day and start all over again.
Sorry for venting, but it gets kinda frustrating. My body aches so bad, I hope my little one is not being affected by all my moving around.I will be taking off from all of that from sep 15th on, so cant wait to get some rest (finally).... :)
Anyways.....I will stop boring you guys with my bs (oops!).
I have my Glucose test on the 18th and my doctor doesn't plan to do another US till around the 32nd week when she will check to see if the baby has turned head down. Would love to see the baby before that, but I guess I have to wait......
TAke Care you both....and Simmi, have fun in the sun (you get to wear some nice sexy clothes when the sun's out), go for it.

Rekha replied. Hi Simmi,
Agree with you, amusing to see the slide and cartoons.
Well i have different problem, touch wood havent faced headache but looks like all the ache is in the back:-) my work involves sitting at my desk most of the time and when i get up i feel as if my back is totally numb for a minute or so. once i walk a little bit it looks ok, night time backache hits back otherwise things are cool, as far as i am walking i feel the best.
My glucose test is scheduled at around your same time ie. 25th August. Also my doc will be doing a U/S that day. She said she will do it on the 28th and 32nd week visit and not more than that. Infact when i went for appointment last week i asked her can i get a scan done?very funny she said i iwll do when required no need for now. in way assuring , but its so nice to look at the baby isint it. i am looking forward to see him/her in 3 weeks time.Hey did u find out whether boy or girl?

Hey Simmi, thanx for the heads up..I appreciate it :)
I do try and get some quiet time at home in the evening and while I am at school and work, I try my best to keep myself from getting too stressed out.
Hope you are coping well with the hot hot days in the UK..

Hi Avi. So sorry to hear about ur hectic schedule. I surely can relate to it being frustrating. My car journey time used to be over 1 hr in traffic so i changed to early working hrs, but that means my day starts way too early too, around 6am, but then when I can, I put my feet up in the evenings, before starting the cooking and cleaning regime. I do use a footrest at work, which is meant to help. U could use a box of printer paper etc, to keep ur feet up, as it does help circulation and reduces fatigue. Since u can't avoid the classes and work schedule, try to make it as comfortable as possible in terms of when sitting there. DO remember to rub ur hand over ur tummy to stimulate happy hormones for the baby and talk to the baby at night time and u will feel reassured! All the very best and good luck with ur classes, I hope they finish in good time b4 the baby arrives.
Do u know boy or girl?

Hi Rekha. Good luck for ur GTT. Let's hope we all pass. :-)
Well, I haven't found out the sex of the baby, as I wanted it to be a surprise, though the tussle with baby names is harder for boy and girl together!
Did u find out girl or boy?
My job too involves sitting at desk all day, so back hurts and even more when i try to sleep, lying on it, helps, but that is not advisable, so keep juggling pillows and positions, plus the fan on myself due to the heat!
Anyways, here's hoping all goes well for all of us. Take care.

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.
