Single Parenting:After school co-op for single parents - Pune?

Do any resources exist or neighborhood networks to bring single parents together for the sake of helping each other out with babysitting, after-school enrichment programs, playdates, etc for working parents? I have a six year old son and will be living in Pune next Fall - with no other family or friends in the area I' m finding very little information on after-school options for him while I' m working (we are American). Thanks for any tips!
