I just got my baby admitted in Amiown.
After taking the fees for the first quarter, they have just informed us that the school timings have been decreased to just 2 hours frm the earlier 3 and a half hours.
Is it not cheating.. ???
Amiown has also become just a money-making machine.
Two hours of play school!!!!
Is this a joke for so much money???
One lesson to learn - Never choose amiown or amity!!!

Hi,

For the upcoming batch 2010 in play school Amiwon Noida, the school hours have been reduced to 2 hours.

As a parent, I am concerned with this decision since 2 hours is too short for child to get a quality time given the time taken in adjustment both during the start and end of the school. Further, i would expect at least half an hour would be needed to commute to the school, making it 1 hour of total travel. As such 2 hour of school hours with 1 hour of travel do not make sense, it is more like troubling the child rather than giving new environment to play and learn.

This 2 hour again is at the cost of awkward times 8:30+ and 11+, one is too early and other is too late. I am not sure when would child take his morning meals. He would be forced to take snacks very fast in the school to honor 2 hour deadline. Sadly, what i heard from the school is, they are scrapping the snacks to avoid such a situation.

I have personally met with the school management and they have said that, it is from the request of parents. I am not sure who has requested but whoever parent i have discussed it, is uncomfortable with this 2 hour.

I have full faith in Amiown and Amity. What we as parent need, is to unite and update them we parents do not want this 2 hour session. The ideal duration should be at least 3 hours. Interestingly the 2009 batch at Amiown had school hours from 9 to 12:30.

And yes, I have heard all goodies about Amiown from parents of 2009 batch.

*If you are educationist / Amiown teacher*, i specifically request you, along with other parents, to comment on this topic. And would you agree the reduced 2 hour is more like troubling children rather than giving a joyful school.
