Hi all,
I would like some advice and ideas on the stuff and things i need to send for my Sister-in-law who is expecting a baby soon in the US. My Inlaws would be leaving in a few months, in time for her delivery and i dont want to miss out on anything that might be needed from india.

would welcome all ideas and advices:-)

I think you should really get some good Indian parenting/baby books. The books here are too \";clinical\";. Clothes definately, since they are very expensive here.

Dear Pavani,
it's kind of you to think about SIL likewise.

There is a lot you can send from India.
All cotton and wool stuff for baby and your SIL as it will be cold soon.

If you go to expectant parents and any month club such as November or so, you can have this query and trust me loads of ideas will come by your way.

You can have folding zhoola for baby. Send lots of postpartum eating material for your SIL, which is typical of Indian origin and difficult or way expensive to get in US.

Abdominal binder, to support her tummy after delivery to get in shape, she will remember throughout the life.

Lots of toys for her littleone to play with.

Hope these a few will help you in shopping.

Archie

Should a single man live with his mum in India?

Recently my Dad passed away and my mother will be alone. I have made enough money to retire comfortably but because I am used to the American lifestyle I can't live in India. Recently my relatives have started saying tha... - Venkat Dabri [View Message]
