I sometime belive that all doc in India always wear a stern faces and are strict. Even my doc is same... She hardly spend 10 min in checking me... Other patients who visit her sit with her for nearly 15 to 20min.. but for me she just say that everything is fine and ask me to leave...
I cannot say much on the scan... because my scan was only for a minute.. and I was really very much upset on that day. All I belive is that my baby is doing fine.. and will be healthy..
Don't worry too much on the US... and if you are not comfortable with the doc then it is better to change now only rather then later.... I was also thinking same.. but I have to be at my mom's place for delivery.. so its of not much use to keep changing the doc now... because finally I am going to be in the hand of different doc only during my delivery.

My doc here In SG is very gud..very experienced and understanding..and my scan specialist was even very gud..actually he gave me alot of confidence when i told him abt my weigh concern...
anyway donn u worry and stress u'rself...kk??

My gynac is quite ok. She hardly has the time to speak or spend with me. I still insist on asking many questions, even if I cant think of any, my husband has plenty to ask!
When is your due date? I guess Nov after Diwali is a good enough time to start. Dont worry you are going to be in Dharwar for a good long time during and after your delivery. So you can celebrate all festivals with your family.. All the best.

Raji pal replied. Same here.. i spent at max 5-7 mins with doc.. and immediately came out.. but other patients are there for 15-20 mins. I wonder why its so small checking for me. She always tells me everything fine no checking nothing.. i literally gets depressed by this.

I guess it could be totally true that the doctors purposely look stern but I would think that looking at the kind of people who come for consulation, they can judge whom to tell and whom not to. Anyways, I am not too bothered with that. Of course, I would like to know the sex of the baby but if I cant nothing much to do there.
My gynac is ok, the ultra sound doc is stern so right now I dont mind staying with the same doc. And same as in your case, I will be going to Bombay for my delivery, so eventually I am going to be in different hands altogether. The doc in Bombay has been my sister's gynac and many of my friends have been to him as well. I have heard he is most stern!! So I really cant complain. All I know is that he is really very good and my family trusts him.
From the posts I gather you are from Pune, where is your mother's house? And when will you travel ?
