Hi,

I am a single mom of an almost 2 year old girl. I am in Delhi now and have been offered a pretty decent job in Bombay. In Delhi I stay with my brother and his wife who both work from home. I am feeling aprehensive about Bombay, because I feel that 2 is too small to be put in a day-care.

Does someone know someone with whom I can share accomodation? A family sort of a place where there are people during the day, who don' mind having a baby around. I will have a 24-hour maid. She's a good baby. :) bharati replied. Have you tried shared parenting. insteadof being single parent have tried joint parenting with your husband. I have met too many separated husbands who want to be part of their lives but are being shut out of their lives to visit theri child for only 2 hours in fortnight.
