Due Date Club December 2002:Baby dropped
2002-11-21
Name: Kavitha

Hi friends,
I had my appt y'day.Baby has taken head down position and is very low.Doc did a scan to confirm this.I've just started 35th week, so she told me to be careful for next 2 weeks- not to walk around much etc.She doesn't want the baby to come before 37 weeks. There is something to worry too.Right now baby's back is facing,i will have prob in case i go into back labour becos of my existing backache prob.Am hoping he/she turns soon.

Hey Kavitha, you are in the same condition as where I was at my 32nd week. My baby dropped too low that time also and I was advised to stay in bed since we did not want to have a pre-term child (especially since this is my second pregnancy). However, with me staying at home, in the next 2-3 weeks, my baby climbed a little up, put his head on my pelvic bone rather than directly on the birthing canal. I am at 37 weeks and waiting. Now when I walk around to try and get the baby over the canal so that I can finish my delivery, he does not.
So donot worry. Just sit on the couch and watch lots of TV and movies. Remember to keep your feet tucked up on a pillow. And relax. Donot worry. The baby is only tryng to scare you!

Hi Sheel,
You can drink water but after one day of your delivery and it would be said by doctors also. You have to take care at that moment because after delivery of baby you would have lot of pain.... - Roja [View Message]

Hi Sheel,
Why do you think in such way doctors would take care of you also.So it is better you do not take any tensions for that which would be better for you only.I hope you would do that.... - Megha [View Message]
