Sleeping:Sleeping problem

My baby boy is 6 months old now and he has problem sleeping throughout the night. I joined work when he was 4 months old. He used to sleep well(gwt up only once or twice for his feed) untill some 15 days back. Now he gets up almost every 2 hrs, he just tosses and turns , cries to be fed but goes back to sleep in 5-10 mins. He literally comes to me and starts lifting his arms for me to pick him up even though his eyes are closed. Could this be because i'm not there during the day (gone for 8 hrs). he must be missing me and feeling insecure?? He stays well with the maid, infact quite attached to her as well. Please reply if someone facing similar problem or knows the solution.

Only thing I would check is the Maid.

Has anything on her side changed? Would be nice to have someone else take case of the baby for a few days and see of things become better.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
