I am 21 weeks pregnant, in ultrasound report it is found that my baby is low laying. Is there chance of any complication in the comming days of my pregnancy? Is there any chance of pre-mature delivery?

Hi Sanju ,
Thanks for ur message, by this time im completed 6 months of my pregnancy I feel movement in whole of my abdomen even in upper portion. My doctor advice me to abstain from any heave works. I shall remember your advice to avoid bend and to sleep on my left side though I prefer to sleep in my left side. Thanks.........

Dear Subhra Deb,
Nothing should happen with proper rest and close monitoring by your OB/GYN. Do not however ignore any abdominal pain (lower), lower back pain as they may indicate some preterm labor.
It may be that your Placenta is low lying and that's what will demand more care in pregnancy in your case. There is some chance that your baby and placenta can move upward and things will be OK for you but if not then also with rest you should be fine.
