My maternal grandmother had celiac disease. Though I do not have the disease but am worried thinking if this can be passed on to my baby? How can I detect it?

Hello dear this is very rare to see but then you should always be careful in this as kids are really prone to get diseases very fast so please consult with your family doctor and in this way you can easily find a solution for the same and be rest assured.

Your worry is right there are high chances of a disease being passed from grandparents to your child. But only genetic diseases and passed. You can tell your doctor about this and he then will tell you about the test that has to be done.
