My younger daughter is 15 months old. She is very naughty and very active compared to my elder daughter. Many times she falls down and hit his head. Recently when she was playing on the bed she hit backside of her head on the hard wood. She cried a lot but after some time she again started playing. She had not vomitted. But I am worrried since I know of 2-3 cases, in which because of head injury one child had become abnormal and one child had died after some years. Should I go to doctor for a thorough check up and CT scan etc. Please reply. If a peadiatrician can reply to me it will be very helpful. Thanks sai replied. Dear Ambika I also have a daughter who is 18 months old She has fallen down many times with her head hitting at the back because the floor is so slippery.Some times right in front of me I also feel very bad and also concerned about head injury but trust on GOD .There is a saying that when a baby falls God takes it on him.So don’t worry if you baby is active and playing.If she is complaining of any pain or touching her head where sahe had the hit then take her to the doctore.Take care vrunda replied.
