Food is a very good way of distracting yourself from depression. When you get depressed you need to divert your attention somewhere else in order to get rid of depression. Once you are eating food your attention gets diverted to food which is a very good way of getting away from depression.

Hi Akansha, it is fact that food helps in dealing with depression. I have realised that food is a medicine for all ailments. See, when you are depressed, call-up your best friend and take her to a good restaurant or you can go even near a panipuri thela. Just enjoy the food with your friend and see the result , you will feel much better.

I was wondering how food can help to reduce depression? Depression is a mental state and what role can food play in reducing depression? Sometimes it sounds funny but it may be true. Has anybody experienced this fact that food helps in reducing depression?
