It is very necessary to cut down calories during Diwali as Diwali is the festival when lot of calories go inside you unknowingly. Try to make a sweet-chart for yourself for avoiding calories during Diwali. Try to fix the quantity of sweet intake during Diwali so that you can cut down on extra intake of calories.

Having sweets made using artificial sweetners is not a bad idea. You can enjoy sweets at the same time cut down on calories. There are many sweets available in market which are made using artificial sweeteners so you can probably munch on low calorie sweets during Diwali for cutting down calories.

Hi Sudeshna, I agree with you and your idea is the best for cutting down calories during Diwali. It is very necessary to prevent calories during Diwali as unknowingly you end up taking in lot of calories. Our house is laden with sweets during Diwali so cravings for sweets also increase. Therefore, it is good idea to make a sweet-chart for avoiding calories during Diwali.
