How r u all u guys...mommies and mommies to b doing? Its been indeed wonderful reading all those lovely messages and birth experiences...Finally feels good to b out of the expecting mode.... so thot of sending u an account of how everything went by...

I started having early signs of labor on the 14th of feb...(note it was Valentines' day..:P). Was asked to get admitted and from there on, the fetal heart rate was continously being monitored...it so happened that the heart rate went up at times which was a concern for the docs...I was given an induction medication at 10.30 pm and from about 1 am on 15th..i went into labor in the full swing...it was painful man...had close to 10 hrs of labour...I had opted for an epidural in the meantime...doc found that i was fully dilated by the time it was 9 am..but the irony was that my brat refused to come down...LOL. at the sametime the baby's heart rate further peaked up...Hence they thot it wasnt worthwhile taking a chance and opted for a c-section.

I was totally conscious during the surgery and to b honest i was relieved since i knew the end for all this pain was getting closer...Ritvik was born at 9.54 am. I just couldnt react when the doc showed me the little one...I remember tears trickle down my eyes...

Ritvik keeps us busy day and nite...life suddenly seems to b just consisting of nappy changes and feed times...LOL.

Hey vidya and shannu how r u guys doing...Why dont we sign up at feb baby club so that we cud continue to interact and discuss topics related to how r babies r doing and otherwise...

Hope all u guys r enjoying urself with the little one...Let the fun continue....

good to hear from you after a long time..actually its me writing after a v long time..ha! sorry to hear abt your 10 hrs of labour but thank god everything went fine!
hey dear, did u notice there is no baby born list for our group..I hope we continue can msging till a list is created..
my baby has got cold and I'm going for her treatment ...so just tired and frustated of visiting hospital every now and then...I wish she gets better asap....
sorry to keep this msg short..will catch u soon..
