I wonder whether this message will B read byanyone...since everybosy is too busy with their gifts....:-)) But I think I should share this experience with U all...So here it is....
Abt my experience during labour...Am sorry that I did not mention abt it in the prev message... Actually, I had been to the Doc for a routine checkup and when they conducted an ultrasound they realised that the amniotic fluid was low.... and I needed to B induced....then and there...I was terrified and worried that something would go wrong. I was admitted and induced that very night( feb 22) and I did start getting pains in the night.....They gave me a sedative and then I woke up after almost 4 hrs..... In the morn they started the Petocin.....I did not get the pains as I should have been getting.... (It was very mild pains) It went on for another day...In the meantime...they did check for my dialation and I was just a mere 2 after all this.... We waited for another night(23)...on 24th morn the Doc checked me again and told me that I have been on petocin for almost 24 hrs...and its not working....even though they had increased the Qty:-((
He told that we could either wait for another 10 hrs to check out whether it will work....or go for a C-section...I really wanted this to finish and I preferred the C-section and hence...By 11:00 in the morn I was operated upon and everything went well...I took epidural( thats real Wonderful stuff) and I was healthy and very happy after the section..... I was in pain for another 2 days...But it was not that bad...cos I did have much options with the pain medication.... And from day 2 I was walking and doing well with everything..... I am absolutely fine now..... Except for some backpain and the Doc says that it will B my companion for quite some time..... :-) Am not worried abt that though....
So thats it abt me.... Hope that U all R having a good time with Ur kiddos.....I am rt now...eating every damn thing thats in my sight...And I eat choc bars...almost everyday :-)) Compensating for the time during the GD period...:-) Will b a balloon soon..... Reading your experience has worried me a bit. I am due on April 6th , and the baby's head has been fixed for over 3 weeks, but no sign of any pains. My doc has already prescribed some Castor oil to help things along, but I am not sure what will happen eventually.
I have no sugar or GD problems so I am not sure what will happen. am really scared, But knowing that you wnet through 3 days of labour gives me strength.
How is the little one?

Welcome to the club of C-Sections....I think this is much better..pain wise than natural labor..One question..my back kills me..very stiff..is that happening to you..Its already been 7 weeks for me tomorrow and I wake up always with a sore back.

How are your abdominal muscles? Mine hurt for a while

Thanks for your detailed mail. It was sad to know that you went thru such a long labor but am happy that your c-section went fine and that you are doing good now.

Roma Geetu replied. Congrats Shannu and Glad to know that everything went great for u.. Im due in April and suffering with GD.. can't get to keep my sugar in contol.. can't wait to hold my baby:-) Reading all these messages makes it hard to wait:-)
