has anyone been diagnosed with PCOS. i have. and as per the dr its in a severe stage. ihave been on metphormin for almost 7 months. i started getting my periods regualry since last 6 months. thought tehy very sometimes between 25-35 days. last month i ahd got them on 25th feb and i went to teh dr who adviced me to try making a baby between 10 and 17th9every alternate da). i ahve. in was supposed to be getting them this month around the smae date abut i ahve not got them as yet. i ahve been feeling the normal back pains, leg pain and sore breasts. i am afraid to try to test as i feel i will be desheartened to know if teh tests are negative. SJ replied. dear all, i am once again here to share my sad story. i got a laproscopy and ovarian drilling dont on 25th of april this yr. after that i got my period on 2nd of june for 5 days. i have not got then until now. m very worried. the dr tells em to have patience but honestly each day is a countdown for me. i have tested twice and bothe the times i got a negative result. i tested last, last week. i am very worried. the dr has given me clomide but i can only have it in case i get my p. someone also sugegste that i should take folic acid tablet of 5mg everyday... can anyone pl suggest me a good home. m ver depressed doont know wat to do. therapy so that i get my periods. thanks. rati replied. First of all thanks for the wishes .Secondly i do not see any harm in LAP operation.Like mine evryting apparently was ok but by this LAP test only the Dr. found fabriods in uterus .For lAP test if u want a second opinion u can go to some good Dr.I agreed with my
DR. on LAP operation bcoz she is a fertility expert .I feel u need to sit down with ur husband & decide the full course of action .DO not mind by 2 many people means 2 many advises & that will lead to all confusions in ur mind .When we decided for IVF both of us sat down selected the Dr. & went ahead with it .Did not tell or ask anyone bcoz all will have different opinion.So do not worry both of u sit & talk as for LAP i do not c any harm in it .In this forum u can see mail by Anisha also who got LAP done .Just go through that mail. confusedSJ replied. i visited my gyno yestrday and he adviced that i shoyuld under go a small surgery called lapcoscopy. he said its a very minor surgery but the results are effective. he has scheduled me for next driday. i asked him to take my ultrasound but he refused saying there is no need, neither did he do a phycial check on me. he said my first ultra sound of 7 months back was enought for him to decide. i hope m making a right choice by following him. i am only agreeing cos i dont want to waste more time. he also told me tht if i wud have agreed to do the same in aug last year then today i wud be expecting as per his assumptions . anyhow thanks for amking me aware more on ivf, i will indeed such for it in google. and yah best of luck for ur delieevry. do keep me informed on your good news. is it your first baby? did u conceve naturally? confusedSJ replied. Thanks a million for your reply. sprry in getting back late. i tested last week twice and both the times i got a negative result. the first day after the results was very depressing but m better now though i cant stop thinking of my problem. i stll have not got my period. i am planning to see my gyno today afternoon and let me hear what he is saying. i am seeing infertility expert, unfortunaley we have none in our town. this gyno who i am going to see today had once suggested me to undergo a small operation in which he will try to prick my ovaries so they can realese a egg. m wondering if i should agree for it now. rati please expalin to me in details aabout IVF. I understand your enxiety as has been thru it a lot. Don' t stress over it. try to relax & be happy & wait for a week. than take a test but don' t build your hopes too high.
Have a balanced diet.
