Name: Anu Any idea about medical and health insurance for parents ? Is it necessary ? If yes,
Do we need to take them in India or here? How much does that cost ? What are different options. Please suggest.

we are planning to take med-insurance from usa (not from india).

if you don't have a med-insurance you have to pay-the-cost for every visit to the hospital and medical attention visitors need.

We are shopping for med-insurance, and asking some of our friends too. Will let you know if we decide one.

Good that you brought this up, and if you have any info to share, please let me know too.

You are right we need to buy insurance here. If we buy in India, not all hospitals consider that itseems.

We havenot decided which one to take. I will let you if i have any further information.
