hi all,
i' m a mother of a 4 yrs old girl.both myself & my husband are enjoying parenthood.we both love children.we always wanted to have two kids.now my husband wants us to try for the 2nd kid.even i always wanted two babies, but now i' m little concerned & worried about having 2nd baby due to financial conditions.we live in US.only my husband works & i stay at home.since i dont work, my hubby' s salary is the only sourse of income.we are doing pretty good as of now, but i wonder if we can manage the 2nd kid.its all so expensive now a days.can 2 kids, their education & successful upbringing be managed with just one earning member of the family?what do u all think?should i go for 2nd baby or convince my husband to be happy with one kid itself?plz need ur help.what do u all plan to do?have 1 or 2 kids?any feedback is highly appreciated.thanks once again.... nikki replied. as once i read,\" If you can go for another child you should as you will have one more person to love for\" .I am glad i did it!
so best of luck nan replied. Yr daughter needs immediate family when the both parent r not there. Plz go for it s replied. there is no other property or support you can give your child which is better than siblings...after you & your husband are gone, who do you think will be of support to your girl in this world...You should definetly go for a second child.good luck. sneha replied. It is really good that you are not working .I am in the same boat as you but working .I think you should have another kid asap and then once both your kid is 3 then start working.try to do some studies in meanwhile so that you can work .
my fear for second kid is that i will have to take a break and sit at home for atleast 6 months ...which i dont want to .second reason i would be spending 75 percent of my salary in day care and other expenses that come when you start working ,so working the whole day ,staying away from kids and getting just 25 % in hand is not motivating enough ....I know i will end up taking a long break .
dont think about other expenses ...school is free you need savings for college only and if your husband is S/W Professional (i guess so )then i think you guys will have it or there are ways to get loan here . not like in india where poor cant afford education .
another positive thing will be that your kid will have some one with blood relation to trust and share (we understand blood relations only we come far from our country and miss our family ..isnt it )
so dont deprive your kid and dont think too much .
