Due Date Club December 2007:Nausea
2007-06-18
Name: Uttara kaushik

I am going to complete my 4th month but still the nausea doesn' t seem to wear off me. juz when everything looks proper for few days I put off everything out one fine day.

My doctor it can happen. I have recently gained little bit of weight whereas in the 1st trimester i had lost weight. But still the nausea problem continues not like before but still its on.

Is it common to all or I am an exceptional case regarding this?

don' t worry uttara.
u r not alone in this
even i' m going thru the same thing
everything seemed as if it is getting ok
but suddenly today i' ve just been vomitting since morning
i' ve heard that for some it finishes of by the end of 3rd month
but for some it reduces but doesn' t stop
everything will ease by the end of f4th or the 5th month.
i' m just thinking the positive side of it that i' m not feeling as nauseaus as before and atleast i' m able to eat something.
u know wat?, u don' t have to feel weary, if u r feeling nauseatic that means ur hormones are just moving right. u r perfect. ok?
so don' t worry
even i had lost lot of weight in the first trimester that was coz od vomittings.
everything will be fine, just be postive, pray to god and ask him to take control.
that wat i' m doing
and believe me god gives us the strenght
and at the end of 9 months u' ll feel and realise that all this suffering was really worth.
u know wat?
we r a unique creation, coz god gave the ability to give birth to a new human being. isn' t this fact enough for us to rejoice?
just think positive, read good books, start knitting, look to babies, u' ll feel wonderful
ok?
take care
and remember there are many women right now facing the same thing as u are
happy mothering
god bless u and the baby

hi
My son also had the same problem his legs used to shiver my doc said it is due to calcium defieciency b.coz I was calcium deficient. She gave him a tonic for 2 mnths it cured after that. The reason why ur baby' s leg is shivering may be this. Plz contact ur doc and take necessary steps as soon as possible.... - Sahila Gupta [View Message]
Help for your sis in NJ
Ravs, your ideas are out of date, since your sis is in NJ she should join a good prenatal class [Lamaze, Bradley etc] and get updated information, also her physician will guide her on diet and her self care please don' t give her advise based on the info in this mail of yours. Breastfeeding support is also available.... - Sameera [View Message]

Not to worry
If you want a normal delivery, ask your doc first to try vaginal delivery if not then go for forceps delivery where baby can taken out with the help of tongs...
