She has to keep herself hydrated by drinking plenty of water. She can take plenty of fruits and green vegetables. Junk foods and sweets can be avoided. She has to take prenatal vitamins daily. Prenatal vitamins will have folic acid in it which is very essential for the baby. She has to take milk for the baby' s bone development. otherwise its normal diet and activeness that would keep her and the baby healthy

Hi Ajay ,
so nice to see your concern and though your wife is pregnant , your role also starts at this point . First of all just try and keep her happy all the times since she will be already worked up with lot of nausea & morning sickness shortly and try and go out for walks with her and do not force her for having food , let her eat the way she wants ( we normally try & force to eat all the meals in one time but its really not possible to eat all the time )so let her have sort 6 meals a day.

diet during pregnancy
Maintaining a healthy diet during pregnancy is very important.

During this time, your body needs additional nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

In fact, you may need 350–500 extra calories each day during the second and third trimesters.

A diet lacking in key nutrients may negatively affect the baby’s development.
