Nurseries and Schools:Mother´ s pride...or Shame???

This is in response to Mr. Dalbirs message regarding a shocking experience his 2 yr old had at Mother' s pride and the response of seemingly a staff member, Ms. Garima thereafter (scroll down the forum to read their messages).

Garima,

Im a mother of a 2 year old and am apalled to read Dalbir' s experience..Its quite obvious that you are a member of staff. But to read your mail..\" just one BAD experience does render an orgaisation bad\" is even more shocking...For you guys this may be one incident (though if you scroll back on this forum, you will read several other mails of parents who have had other horrifying experiences with Mothers Pride)..but for a parent it is their precious child they are talking about..when will you guys understand that these are young, impressionable lives that parents entrust in your hand, not potatoes or onions to be “handled.” Do you even have a conscience…But then most of the PYTs in Mothers’ Pride are just smooth talkers, they are not even married, forget about being Mothers…and with Ms. Sudha Gupta at the helm of affairs, whose husband was involved in a criminal case for siphoning off crores of rupees while working with the govt…what else can one expect…Only wish she had chosen some other industry rather than playing with young, gullible lives….Sad!

I have seen in this board a constant effort to malign the reputation of this famous chain of preschools.i have nothing for or against this school.but since i am an old member of this site,i am familiar with these reports against mothers pride.but i must say,after all these efforts...its still considered one of the best options by many parents.and like any other chain,it has its +ves and -ves.so let the parents decide whether to send their child there or not after visiting the particular branch,and analysing their options....this kind of efforts by selected people to malign a reputed branch is not what a parent like me want from a forum like this....hope this war will end here...but yes,real opinions are always invited...

@timi

Neither have I, anything for or against, any of these pre-schools.

However, in the same spirit as you define -

there are other parents, like me, who definitely want to research all options in-depth. And reviews from members like Rekha contribute in a part to the 360-degree view of the institution that I intend to send my child to. (emphasis on 360-degree).

IMHO, everyone is entitled to their opinions and also to express them and limiting the " kind" of opinions, is only anti-Constitutional.

Flame-wars are a part of life on Internet - and they are generally in the interest of the consumer.

RE:What Toddlers Should Be Learning?
Toddlers are at a crucial stage of learning, where foundational skills for life are being developed. At Skillmatics, we believe toddlers should be learning cognitive abilities like problem-solving, memory building, and recognition of shapes, colors, and patterns. Language development, motor skills, and social-emotional growth are equally important during these years.
