When my first baby was born in aug this year, the doctor has informed us that the baby was having a heartbeat which is being heard twice. He has assured us that this is not a problem and would disappear within first month. But now it is almost two months and we are consulting the same doctor so far.. He is still observing the condition but insists the situation is not a serious issue.
We are tensed up on this condition. We dont know much about this condition as no one in our family had any history of such. We request parents who are aware of this condition to pls mail us their experiences so that we would be well prepared to face the future with appropriate information and confidence... Dont worry about the double heart beat. one is the heart beat and another is the murmur sound.. my sister in laws baby also faced exactly the same probs..

once your baby starts growing, becomes very active and gains weight automatically the sound will dimish and vanish ...

so dont worry about that .. this is a common phase for the baby..

my Father in law was born with a double h beat and hes now 60 and still has a double beat.. dont worry.
