Eighteen months after it admitted its first batch of 30 children in the age group two-five years, the Indus Early Learning Centre, Jubilee Hills (IELC) has been voted the city’s most admired preschool and ranked No.1 by a civic representative sample comprising 460 SEC A preschool parents and principals/teachers polled by the Delhi-based C fore.

Hi, I' ve evaluated about 10 major playschools in and around the Srinagar Colony area.

I feel Gymboree - the play school in Jubilee Hills is the best of the lot in terms of activities for children. But they too have several drawbacks.

I recommend that you attend the parent-child program with gymboree for atleast a week and then use the techniques and activities you learn there at home.

The negatives at Gymboree are (i) high fees (ii) very short sessions(45 mins) and (iii)lack of individual attention to children. But they were better than all the other playschools I saw.

I have a 2yr old son. I' ve decided not to completely rely on these playschools and am spending a couple of hours with him everyday in his playroom exposing him to a range of exercises and activities I' ve learnt about on the internet.

I' d also like to have more kids of his age during these sessions(2 to 3 yrs),as kids imbibe faster from there peers. I usually have these sessions from 5 to 7 pm. I stay in Srinagar Colony. If you' d like your child to join us, please contact me. through this forum....Thanks....Venkat Rao

Hi Venkat,
The main challenge is developing a schedule and sticking to it for the child despite daily grind

I agree Gymboree is best among the group mainly the equipment and the quality of trainers. We had a daughter attend 3 of Gymboree classes and found them very helpful in developing an interest in learning (painting, music, etc)

Thanks
Vikram

Hey Pari, I am sending my kid Arjun there. He was just 18 months when I started and quite a shy kid but I am amazed how quickly he has started talking strings of sentences now and is also no longer shy. My sister came back from US last month and Arjun went rattling off nursery rhymes in front of her and she was amazed. She saw changes in him like toilet training etc. which they dont start there in US till about 3 years of age but this school toilet trained him at 20 months! So I am satisfied and have referred them to many people even at my work place

Hi, Even I am working in Gachibowli and have been looking at countless playschools, usually nothing is meeting up to my expectations. I am yet to check out the newly opened Euro Kids, but I guess it should be better than the rest. Today I also saw a board for Esperanza, that has opened a new branch near EPTRI. Than there is a new one called Blue Blocks that looks promising and I eagerly wants to check that out too. I will let u know what I think once I see these places. Please provide ur own reviews of any places u come across in Gachibowli, it would be very helpful for all of us together.

Toddlers are at a crucial stage of learning, where foundational skills for life are being developed. At Skillmatics, we believe toddlers should be learning cognitive abilities like problem-solving, memory building, and recognition of shapes, colors, and patterns.
