Can anyone suggest me a good Play school for 26 months old in gurgaon. Will be great to hear your experience and suggestion.
Thanks Edni replied. Hi, i' m also in search of a good playschool in gurgaon for my 2 yr old. Still looking - just been here abt 10 days ago. Heard some good feedback abt ibambini so decided to check it out. The sch is nicely done up with interesting features for the young.

However, as with Kapil, we too had a rather bad experience dealing with the principal. The person whom we met with (Mrs Bharti, i think - cos she didnt even introduce herself!!!) was anything but warm and friendly. I am an education specialist myself and i guess she felt \" threathened\" with my queries on the reggio method and was very defensive - to the point of arguing! Anyway its interesting that when i asked abt the staff training, she said that the method required no training - i guess anyone can do it then! So what' s so special? The method is good (based on info from a friend in the US and my own research) but i guess when the principal is not even able to explain the approach well, there is a problem. When i asked to check out the premises (was not offered to me!) i saw the toilet being dark and dingy, so i asked. To which she replied that there' s probably no one in there or no electricity. She ignored my response abt the back up system and the fact that a nanny was with a child there - in the dark! Didnt even say bye to me when i left - badly needs some training in manners! With the 20 years experience she claimed (when i asked her questions on childcare education), she sure missed out training on social skills. Wonder how her staff may be.

If Kapil' s wife was rebuked for simplicity and hindi speaking (which i thought was totally ridiculous and unjust), i am a foreigner, speak no hindi - so it must be the principal who has a problem!

Anyway, just my personal experience. Perhaps she had a bad day - i dont know. I read good reviews abt the director so to be fair, one may want to check out the place since some people had positive experience there. I will write to the director personally to share my experience with the principal.

A total wonderful experience at idiscovery, just that i felt the numbers are kind of large... please do post messages of other playschools. Still looking.

Mother' s pride at Galleria proved a superb option. rgds kapil rekha replied. Hi, My toddler goes to ibambini preschool and Im very happy with the way they work with young children...They have a fantastic staff and a great school with a lot of open space for the young kids...Its a great experience and would recommend you at least visit them once.
