Due Date Club September 2007:Level II u/s issues?

Hi,

My 18 wk u/s indicated some soft markers for DS. Though the chances of having a baby with DS are low, i have been recommended for an amnio. Has anyone gone through an amnio before?

Hi RM,

In my last appointment my doctor told me about Down Syndrome test and amnio test..
This weekend I am going to have DS test..she told me that if there is any -ve thing in DS then we should go for amnio test.
I am not aware of anyone who had done this amnio test before..but I think it is safe (just googled it).
I hope someone on this group will reply with some more accurate info.

all the best..dont worry
take care
luv
ramya.
