I just entered into 7th month if the total months are 10.if you count total as 9 months iam in 6th month . it is confusing sometimes . how you guys count the months or wks . padosan replied. Hope both are doing good. I'm also carrying twins and my due date is Nov 30. My doctor did brief me about the preterm labour & all those statistics you folks mentioned. I'm gonna be mentally prepared but i'm going to stop-worrying on this preterm labour condition. My doctor also told me that she will help as much she can to avoid preterm labour. During this whole of pregnancy my husband/parents/in-laws adviced me to BE POSITIVE all the time. Iam trying my best. Sometime negative thoughts and feelings might hurt us. Girls, please don't worry too much. God is great.

To avoid preterm labour, she adviced me to be in bedrest after 26weeks. The definition of bedrest is slightly twisted. It doesn't mean staying in the bed all the time, but the term is used to advice that, don't travel, reduce your house-hold work, reduce your everyday activities etc. This is will help all twin-mom's to be extra careful, not put too much pressure on the babies etc, and avoid pre-term.

Iam having my MOM come September, during my 26-30'th week. That will relieve pressure from me. I will be so happy too.

Sowmya, i had the same confusion in counting the weeks/months. But if you subscribe to www*indiaparenting*com or www*babycenter*com, you will get emails & the WEEK you are currently in. They calculate that according to your LMP age(last menstrual period).

how are you today. i completed 24wks and now in 25th wk and my due is oct 2nd. so far everything isok. a wk ago i got the glucose tolerence test and doctor never called me for the result. but he already told me that he is not going to call me kif the test is normal. iam assuming everuyhting normal. yesterday i had ultrasound and both babies are growing equally and normal amounts of amniotic fluid etc. cervical length is fine.
iam only scared of one thing that is prematurity since this is twin pregnancy. my doctor is always making me more cautious about the premeturity and i dont know about your doctors , are tehy also telling you about premeturity or not. sinc etwo days my hemorrroids bothering me a lot, you guys know any remedies. my doctor said 30% of twins deliver at 40wks and 30% of twins deliver at 36wks and 30% deliver at less than 36wks. but the average is 36wks that what he said, correct me if you know better statistics. probably from next month they are going to recommond me bed rest i think . let us all twin moms and other moms meet aatlest once a day. so that we can share our feelings bai now sowmya replied.
