My son aged 4 quiet a social and a confident child offlate has started stamerring whenever he starts a sentence.He has been carrying this problem for the last 4 months . My peditrician has asked me to ignore the problem . I do not notice this problem when he sings but whenever he starts a conversation the problem recurs.

due to job constaints I do not stay with him but visit him atleast once in 2 weeks.I am worried as this problem will undermine his confidence .

Would some parents faced with a similar problem
guide me as to the remedy to this problem .

hello rajeev,
i would suggest you to take your child to a speach therapist....your child's stammering is not a big problem....but by this age of your child if u can have a simple check up then it would be a better step... i can give you a reference of a speech therapist if you need any...or can always use yellow pages...hope you overcome with this problem soon...
