Iam 27 years old and my husband is 33 we have been married for 2 1/2 years now and we are thinking on planing, however my husband had an hernia operation 7 months back. please let us know when is it safe to go ahead we both have been waiting patiently.

Also i am over weight by 20 kgs iam 5' 8\" tall i have read that its better i loose weight which iam trying hard to please suggest what is the optimum weight i should have to concieve...waiting for suggestion.thanks

dear ps,
welcome to ttc even i am in ttc started just this mnth . 1st i woluld like to know what is your present that u have said that u r 20kg over weight??
the ideal wt depends upon lot of thing like ur built,eating habits region where u stay etcout of which built and structure is v imp to know.
2nd ly have u fixed ur gynec/obs ask him or her regarding trying as far as i know its past 90 days things are absolutly fine even my husband got his gall bladder operated and we went on a v hectic vacation after 1 mnth .
eat health and dos ome brisk exercise like walking,free hand ,strtches and bit of simple yoga.as u have decided get urself equiped with all the information regarding fertile days,ovulation etc and dont be disheartned if it doesnt happen nxt mnth every healthy cpl takes a min of 3 mnths as u know a man is fertile every sec but a woman is fertile only a few days in a mnth .
so best of luck in baby making and most of all dont make love a chore enjoy the activity and be happy

thank you very much for your advice, actually we both are tall and have a well buit structure,we were just concerned abt hernia and conception... thanks.
