Vegetarian Food:Mathri recipe..pls help

I tried making mathris, but after frying it turned out soft, i pricked it well with the fork and then fried, could the proportions be wrong, can anyone pls help with the proportions.

Thanks S for ur tips. It really worked, i think i was frying the matris less, it became crisy this time. I just did an addition i added ajwain instead of jeera.

In above recipes there are some changes to keep the crispy mathri.



Heat oil in a frying pan, add some matri at a time.


Fry till lightly golden, flip side and repeat.


Drain and cool to allow to become crisp.


Store in an airtight container.

Hello,
Mathri



Ingredients
flour(plain roti ka atta)1 cup
haldi 1/2 tsp
salt (acc. to taste)
lal mirch 1/2 tsp
jeera 1/2 tsp
milk 4 tbs
oil to cook

Method
1 mix all the ingredients in the flour.
2 with the help of the milk make a tight dough,(mutthi bandh).
3.take small small quantity and make(khasta type small round shape)
4. heat the oil in a pan,reduce the flame and put these matharis in them.
5 cook them on sim until they turn light brown.
6 mathris are ready serve them hot with chatni.
