Aparna,

Ginger is good. But if u take so much as it is,maybe it will bring heartburn. So try first with raw ginger,if not good go for chukku

bye,
Revathi

Ginger does not harm the baby. I craved for ginger chutney (andhra style) during my first pregnancy. It is fine.

Hi,

Ginger in any form is good for gas. If you don't have access to chukku, you can just take a 1-2 cm piece of ginger and crush with salt. Chew it slowly till you get the juice out. It is very good for relieving gas.

Good luck.
