Hi,
My daughter got admission in Baldwin girls school, richmond road, bangalore this year. She has been shortlisted also in FAPS. I am not really able to decide which school to choose. Can anyone please tell me which school is better in between the two. Also I could see that baldwin girls school has only upto standard X. Some websites its mentioned that they have upto XII standard. Whether they have any other institution for standard XI & XII.

Also please let me know how good is bishop cotton girls compared to Baldwin girls school.

Hello all...just now called up Baldwin Girls Transport Department.....They do not have any Lady Staff conductor in any of the Buses....even for the Primary class Nursery & Pre Nursey Girl Babies. In case these small kids needs any help...they are feeling toilet and all who will take care...even when i asked this question...the person started talking very rudely.....that is how they are concerned about the small kids....most of the gud schools in Bangalore they keep one Lady staff in buses,...along with Male Driver.
i am thinking again about my baby putting in this school...because i do not want to wait till something happens.....All the parent should be together and talk to the school Authority regarding this...this is a very important for our baby safety

Please fix up a time and meet near Baldwin and talk to the Principal regarding this.

Just imagine the Last drop girl child has to travel alone in the bus with the male driver & conductor. If something happens who will take the responsibility. BETTER BE ALERT.

I personally feel both the schools are good in their own ways and ofcourse both the schools have their draw backs as well. But I would suggest you to check the distance from the school to your residence because thats one of the important factor in deciding the school. Because we choose the best school and make the poor kids travel all the way in the chaotic traffic.All the best. Jyoti replied. Hi,
My daugther is 3 years 3 month now. We are looking forward to put her in Baldwin' s. By the time the school will start which according to me is in June , she will be 3 years 8 month. Can anyone suggest me whether They will consider my application if I apply ? Anyone has any idea from when they are going to issue the application form for the academic year 2011?

Jyoti Divya replied. Hi, how was the admission process in Baldwin Girls. Did they have an interaction with the parents or child? My daughter has just got her name in the second list and I was wondering what is in store for us tomorrow. Any inputs will be greatly appreciated. Manjula replied. My daughter also got into Balwins. And selected for Frank Anthony as well.

But we have paid the fees as Frank anthony has just 180 seats and 440 interviews scheduled.

They are also very particular about the distance between the school and the child' s home. And besides they give preference to parents who are their alumni or work in armed forces.

So u didnt put ur son in Baldwin' s school.Becoz even my son has got there but didnt thru n FAPs ,Bishop' s is taking such a long time , i dont know what to do. what have u decided for your kid.

Parent disha replied. hey my son also got thru' baldwin boys...but im dropping the school he cud not get thru' FAPS may b age issue he is june 22nd born..well FAPS is afr better than Baldwins ..i hv afrnd whose daughetr goes there and she is planning to put her daughter somewhere else...whiloe Bishop Cotton still holds THE BEST tag(don' t know ..how gud is the story from inside!!!!)..but yeah..u can give a shot at FAPS as the dates of all the school admissions overlap..
