Hi Rajani,
As see and know from my personal experience, there are many play schools in Gurgaon. But my favourite is Kidzee as they have many centres in India with pick and drop service.

my son is going to a playgroup called Cherub angels in sector 57.he used to eat a lot of chocolates and hence was high on sugar.
He had ADHD,the way the lady keeps the children is commendable...she treats them as her own and the teachers are really good.she kept him buzy with different activities and he has improved on concentration a lot.
plain fantastic.

Its a day and night child care

I visited “Preschool for Child Rights” and read one eye opening article - Reality Check for Parents preschools in gurgaon, suggest everybody to read that article. The fact is that none of the preschools / day care / creche etc are having any proper curriculum, wake up parents.

dear parents , i totally agree with the other parents of kids of learning light house school in dlf phase - 1 gurgaon. please dont ever go there.it is only to snatch away as much money as possible from us parents. they have no teachers, dont give food to kids, no care at all, even hit kids, they just want money from us. if u love your kid, avoid learning lighthouse.

There is a new school and day care which has opened on 19th jan 09 The Learning Lighthouse in DLF Phase 1.That is one place your little one should NEVER go to.

Impressive Infrastructure & teachers camouflage the true picture. Right from first day, they believe in snatching the child & let her cry till she knows she does not have an option. When I visited them, 2 out of six kids were crying continuously & they were completely being ignored .The teachers clearly don’t have a passion for their job.

Hi, how i wish i had read this blog earlier.....well i hv a 2.5yr old whom i got enrolled for the summer-camp at Learning lighthouse Gurgaon.this is the worst place i hv ever seen for kids in gurgaon, the infrastructure n the sweet talk of the principal camouflage the real picture. these people hv absolutely no compassion for children.the so called teachers shout n scream at 1-2yr olds n use words like stupid and shut-up!! it was horrifying to see that the toilets dont even have soaps to wash hands while the school is charging quite a bit on a per day basis for 4hrs.......pls steer away from this school....they absolutely dont hv any love for kids and are in this line only to make money!!

Hi there,

Check out ibambini preschool in sector 56- a great school with an educationst (not a businesswomen) for a director. The staff is extremely warm & friendly and well trained to work with children, and not ' teach them' as they say. A huge campus, with lkots of open and green spaces for children is the best thing I loved about the school. You must check it out.

Hi rajani,
there a playschool in DLF Ph-1, Called as ANAND..lane next to the shopping complex where all the banks are...the director is ANKITA and swear the place is awesome...she takes so much personal care of the children and even knows how many times one has pooed and peed!!!!my son used to go there and after coming to b' lore i was devastated with the fact that i was unable to find a gud school here as compared to ANAND.
ur son is too young to go the school..don' t hurry up..perple do send their kids to school even at the age of 18 months but he shud b 2+ else he' ll end up with lot of infections..infact best is 2.6..u might feel he is old enough to go...but start doing some homework at home..like coloring using non toxic colors pasting etc...put him in a routine geeting up and making him ready at 9 and be negaged till 12 ...then send him say by 2.3...he' ll adjust better...u can refer ANKITA thru' me ...she is gem of a person...take an appointment n visit the place..

Hi Disha,Checkout " KLAY prep n dayb care center" my kids went to tht shcool for an year...it´ s expensive but truely worth it.m in the same boat as u, recently shifted to delhi n not finding equally good preschool. My kid dropped out 2 schools as he´ s a very moody and diificult to handle, At Klay, unexpectedly he fell in love with teachers very soon..n thn slowly he started enjoying his school....he still misses his teachers and yes their methodology is perfect for this age , i admit my otherwise naughty n moody son learnt soo much in a short period of time...Well, to mention it´ s about KLAY -Whitefield, I ve no idea abt other KLAy Branches.

Hi Disha,
I read your blog in indiaparenting and have to recommend Vcare and your kids are our kids in Bangalore. These two day care centers are fantastic. They cost a bomb but I believe they are worth the money because of the world class service they provide. I intended to join my daughter when she will complete 2 years in one of them. Unfortunately we are moving to Gurgaon next month and I have to look for another great day care there. I would definitely not leave my kid in any aira-gaira day care. Good luck to you.

Toddlers are at a crucial stage of learning, where foundational skills for life are being developed. At Skillmatics, we believe toddlers should be learning cognitive abilities like problem-solving, memory building, and recognition of shapes, colors, and patterns.
