Our daughter has become v smart, she know most of the animals, fruits and vegetables now. And the hygiene they maintain is commendable. they also have a daycare and the staff is very cordial

People reading/writing on this forum are all parents to their kids whom they love more than anything else. (I agree with Anita and Amit on their feedback on Chimes. Even if they have registered using false names, how does that matter? The fact is they availed the facility of Chimes and were disappointed.)
I have put my real name here. I put my son who is 11months old to Chimes daycare facility by reading the good feedback on this thread. So I had to give feedback here. I don' t want other parents(and most of all THEIR KIDS) to go through these disappointments.
Everything was going kind of OK until I went to pick up my son from Chimes Sec-56 GGN ... 2 hours earlier than the scheduled timings. Firstly the owner was not present and a temporary caretaker was present. She told me what all my son ate during the day and that he just ate an orange and four ParleG biscuits(cheap and filling biscuits and that to -FOUR !). I was like okay. I took my son to home and to my shock he was STARVING.I had never seen him in this condition before. Next day when I went to the Chimes daycare and started interrogating about what my son ate yesterday... I was hearing different versions from different people. To be precise my son went to their facility for 6 days and this incident happend on 2rd April. I had already submitted the registration fees, fees for 4 days in March and fees of April. When I asked the owner (By the way Amit has rightly described her personality) to refund the fees of April ATLEAST (I didnt ask the registration fees back) she started yelling at me. I was with my son,I was too cautious about the kinda environment that that lady created in her office.She was YELLING at me and making personal remarks like - \" YOU CAN NOT AFFORD TO PAY THE MONEY\" ,\" WHY CANNOT YOUR PARENTS/HUSBAND TAKE CARE OF YOUR SON\" , and to my utter shock \" YOU ARE NOT BEING A GOOD MOTHER\" !!!
Some other (concrete) Pitfalls of Chimes Sec-56 Gurgaon are as follows:
1. Totally untrained care takers.
2. Caretaker:Child ratio is very poor.
3. Unhygienic conditions. (One of those six days I took out a SOILED DIAPER from my son' s bag!! )
4. Too many promises. The owner would impress you by her talking skills. (She should learn how to walk a talk)
A Suggestion to parents who are currently availing their facility : Give a surprise visit at Chimes facility to check your child' s wellbeing.

Their monthly planners are hand made and beautiful. The kids learn while having fun...they are disciplined...learn to do stuff on their own...I could go on and on.
My vote is 100% for Lil Sunshine :-)

I have been to idiscoveri in sec-46, I must tell you all that if you stay around that area, you must put your school in that becoz its very neat and clean, have good teachers, i have spoken to them my self and got a good feeling also they have many different activities like gardening and all for kids and i saw most of the kids smiling and playing with the teachers. why i have not choosen that school is becoz it is little far for my daughter........then i went to little footprints and learning lighthouse........little footprints i will give 2 out of 5 for cleanliness and its stuffed with kids and i only saw teachers gossiping with each other and kids playing themselves so somehow i dint like it.Learning lighthouse is a very new school so interms of decor and all it looks very nice, but then again the way they talk and counsel you, it lokks more like asking for business rather than showing conern for the babies.
Fianlly i have been to Kidzee today and what i like the most about the school is that this is with in the residential area , they have a mini school bus whch is much safer than the cabs for our little ones and the student cjildrean ratio is 10:1 + one maid, so that the teachers can concentrate more on each kid. they have good classrooms for the babies, very colorful stuffed with books and toys, they have almost all the activities like , play area, dance and musis room, doll house, day care, swimmimg pool, open playground and i also saw teachers undergoing a traning course. which was nice. Teachers are also very soft spoken and they looked equipped with the knowledge of how to handle babies and kids.
Their fee structure is also very affordable . Theuy provide meals in the school and i saw the kitchen and it was very neat and clean.
So i am fully convinced to send my daughter in Kidzee from the ist of april.
I hope this feedback will be of any help to the parents who are looking for the preschools for their little ones.

The pre school my child goes to (CHIMES Playschool in sector 56) has a very robust curriculum designed by Mrs Mehta whoz an expert in Instruction Designing. They make their plans using this curriculum.

We are both working professionals in Gurgaon. Putting our 4 year old son ( at that time he was 3) into a daycare was a big decision. While we did have family support at home my parents were getting old and handling an energetic full of life 4 year old and keeping him constantly engaged was a challenge.
We therefore decided to check out some options and evaluate them vis a vis his staying at home so that we could decide on whether to go ahead with the day care option or continue with our arrangements at home with the help of a maid.
We checked out most of the available day care options in Gurgaon – from phase 4 to sohna road – Oysterr, Panchtantra, Fastrackids, Kindercare, Vishesh Kids etc.
Some of the key criteria that we evaluated all the day cares were –
The overall infrastructure
The people running the show
The support staff
The basic philosophy and approach
Their knowledge of the kids who attended there
We finally narrowed down on Wunder Kinder Day Care, located in Nirvana Country, South City 2, Gurgaon which scored extremely well on these points
On the specific criterias that we evaluated –
The overall infrastructure – Wunderkinder is very conveniently located just off the Golf Course extension road. Locationally on the main road, but tucked away in a small lane this ensures that there is no heavy traffic in front of the gate. The building itself is a spacious 2 storeyed child friendly building with spacious airy cheerful rooms. There is a lot of outdoor play area both in front and the back of the building where the children can play without the risk of them stepping out on to the main road. The overall place is very neat and clean
The people running the show – Primarily run by Ajay & Ashima, these 2 are the heart and soul of the school. They have a completely hands on philosophy and are involved in everything right from managing the day to day requirements of the school to being involved in the daily care of each and every child. They are like the de-facto parents completely aware of the likes and dislikes of each child, and its an extremely nice feeling to meet them in the evening everyday ( when I go to pick up my son) and get a complete overview of the full day activity. You know and can feel the genuine and care and affection that they have for each child.
The support staff – While there are quite a few of them, our son spends the maximum time with Smriti who is their day care incharge. An extremely patient and fun loving person, she brings out the creative side of each child and ensures that the time spent there is creatively utilised and there is a learning that happens in a fun way, whether its playing interesting games or making interesting crafts etc.
The basic philosophy and approach -
The biggest plus that WunderKinder has is the absence of any kind of screens – TV/Ipads/etc. Considering the amount of time our kids spend in front of the screens at there home, it’s a big relief for them to go and spend time in a creatively stimulating environment.
Element of personalisation possible -
Each and every child is treated as an individual and their specific needs and requirements are catered to. While they have a set daily menu for food, based on an individual child’s requirements and likes and dislikes , they ensure that the same is met.
Sending a child to a daycare is a tough decision for any parent.
But it’s a wonderful feeling when our child looks forward to going and spending time at WunderKinder and we as parents are also rest assured that he is in safe and caring hands and is spending his time engaged in constructive activities.

Hi Friends, i want you all to think before you send your kid to Chimes. following is my experience.
1) She ask for money for every small thing and will keep you sending sms asking for money.
2) not great educational staff.
3) All good teachers leave because of behavioral problems of the owner ( moti/ Khadus / kanjus is what all ex Teachers call her )
4) one of my friends daughter was tide to the chair by ropes and when he landed accidentally to take back her daughter he noticed and filed a police complaint against owner.
5) Chimes will even ask students to bring toilet soap and tissue papers because she can’t afford them in school fees
