I have been married for 3 years now. & I have been trying to get pregnant since July 2002, so its been more than a year now. But in this time-period, technically we just have sex in the expected fertile period hardly 2 times obviously without any success. Acutally our frequency of having sex is very less. Sometimes not even once a month. We both are working & were busy in one thing or another & get tired. Moreover, my husband is 7 years older than me & he doesn't have that drive for sex..I do. I am 28 & my husnand is 35. I am very tensed as I want to get pregnant & I am & was always interesed in having a good sex life but my husband seems very less interested in having sex & seems like he takes that as a burden. Since its getting late for us, he too wants to have babies & is ready to have sex for that. My husband loves me but I really wish him to have a good drive for sex. Most of the times I make the first move. Can someone tell me if its too late for us to have babies? Should we go for treatment? We haven't seen any Doctor yet. Is it because of our age difference that we don't have a nice sex life??

I suggest you take professional help. Pl visit NDTV web site go to health section and post your question on Q& A section any problems will be answered by leading doctors from India and abroad. It is really good. It will help you.

both of you go for along holiday one month with relax both of you foget your tention, be sure that both of you should take a food non veg like sea-food or chicken,it will help you as much as & then you intercourse that day

my advise is just both of you go and consult a gyny,since you are trying for 1 yr it is better to see the doctor once.abt sex i dont think age difference is a factor.in this busy lifestyle with work tensions you are not having time and energy.you and your hubby if possible take some leave from work and go to a vacation.one more thing if you are in US dont go to India as a vacation :).spend time together forget all your work for sometime try to relax.also try to give a head massage or body massage to your hubby in the weekend which will lead to ....wish u all the best.

glad you agreed with my reply.well plz dont come into any conclusions so fast.even the doctor will advise you to improve the no of times.sit and talk to your doctor openly abt all your doubts.i am sure they will guide you.in the first vivsit they make you feel better they do all kinds of testd just to make sure everything is fine.then they wait for sometime and will ask you to do sex in particular days.if this also fails then they go further.so there is nothing to worry.probably you might not undergo all this.so dear dont worry.
prgnancy depends on various factors like physical and mental.so if you both physically are perfect you just need to relax and do not worry much abt kids.you should wait for the right time.so it better and discuss with your doctor abt this .i wish you all the best.if you get a positive result do post me in this message board.all the best.

Thanks for your reply. I will take your advice seriously & will see a doctor soon. The reason why I have not done that so far is because, while we are trying since past more than one year, the true attempts during fertile time have not been more than 2 or 3 at most. This is because of less frequent sex. Is my husband's lesser drive for sex a matter of concern??
