Sleeping:give me some advice..!

Hi Everbody,

My daughter is 11 months old now. We went to India & we just came back 2-3 weeks back. Earlier my daughter use to sleep in the crib but after coming back from India she is not sleeping on her own & neither in the crib too. She cries a lot when I put her in the crib. She even woke up 2-3 times at night & don't try to sleep on her own. I use to breastfeed her so when I give her milk she then goes to sleep again. Can anyone of u can advice me & help me so that I can try my daughter to sleep on her own & that too in the crib. & is their any way so that she will sleep well whole night . I would really be thankful to all of u.I need an advice from all of u.

Thanks,
shailu

hi shailu,
I know how you are worried of your baby.Even i had the same problem.being used to sleep with you snugly had made your baby sleep with you so she is not ready for the seperation..this phase is called to be seperation anxiety.it lasts for little days so please try daily to put her in the crib though she gets up in between.it will take around 10 days or so for the baby get adjusted for her new routine..

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
