hey guys ,

Thank you so much for replying . i really appreciate it .

Now im happy that there' s a way for my mom to come over here . She gng to apply visa next week . Ussually how long do they allow ppl to stay in USA , im thinking to keep her for 3 months .

Please advice me ...

You are welcome......As sheetal said, you get six months max....Bring her lil early so that she can relax and start the routine when you are around..

Hi Vani, you are most welcome. When someone enters on a tourist visa, the immigration officer will put a stamp on it, which will say the max no. of days that person can stay in US. Usually, it is six months. So its upto you, how many days you want your mom to be here. I would advice you to call your mom as closer to the duedate as possible coz you need their help especially after the baby. Though my mom is getting here june end, coz my dad is coming too and they want to visit a few places and my cousin' s too. They' ll do that in july and then aug, once the baby comes, they won' t be able to go anywhere.

Yes I am also bringing my parents couple weeks early.
Also Vani when you are buying the ticket, make sure you have an option to change return date with no charge or with minimal penalty.

There are several airlines allowes to change return date one time free. Ex. Emirates.

horlicks with milk
i know for sure horlicks is absolutely fine with milk.. but in pregnancy i was adviced to have mother' s horlicks since it has DHA and some other stuff that are good for the baby...
