Hi,

Just wanted to know how soon can i take up Home pregnancy tests?....do i need to wait till i miss my periods and then check or can i check 2 or 3 days after making love?, as some websites say that its good to check one week after we miss our periods,to get confirmed results. When do i take up home pregnancy tests?

hello shree,
U can take home pregnancy test ,the immediate next day of ur missed period..(provided,ur periods r exact n very regular.Ie if its 28 days.always it shd be just 28days..If its irregular then wait for atleast a week after u miised ur periods n take the test).I had taken the test,the immediate next day of my missed period..I cudnt wait for a week.Anyways my periods very very regular...

But anyways remember this,take the test with the first morning urine,n do as told in the home pregnancy test.Ie If they ask u 2 put just 2 drop of urine,then just put 2,not more,n if they say read the result after 2 mts,do read it before 2 mts..
so before taking the HPT,read the instructions carefully n do accordingly...
