Hello,

Recently my in laws went back to India. This was the first time i stayed with them. But there stay wasn' t very pleasant. There were daily activities which were filled with cold response and trying to getting control over things. I thought that prolly after they will leave, things will settle down. However it still hasn' t.

After i left, I found notes/cutouts in our house, giving info on how to conceive a baby boy. There aren' t just one but many. We don' t have any kids as yet and we are not planning to have them soon enuff. I understand that they have desire to see grand kids, but this is too much to expect. I feel that with the generation we are in, we should have a open mind set. But even the thought of the kind of indirect pressure that I got from the notes gives me a feeling of disguise.

I am loosing the respect that i had for my inlaws. But my husband is supportive but as soon he listens to his family, he speaks the same language.

This upsets me more. Can anyone please help?
