Hey Worried,

I understand your tension and mental state...but please stop worrying on this issue as it will only worsen your situation. So please for the sake of your baby....take a deep breath.

I don' t have much knowledge about preeclampsia, but it is always recommended to take complete rest if you suffer from preeclampsia.

The reason I am writing in response to your post is that I delivered my baby at 34 weeks. By the grace of God, my baby is doing absolutely fine. (although I did not have any preeclampsia or any other problem)

I would say that you should count yourself lucky since you are aware of your problem and you can take corrective measures now.

Remember some swelling is normal during pregnancy. However if it shows on your face and doesn' t go away even after resting, then it could be a cause of worry. If your dr. confirms preeclampsia through some blood tests, then seek her advise. Some things that you can do:

1.PLEASE CUT THE AMOUNT OF SALT FROM YOUR DIET.
2. KEEP YOURSELF HYDRATED.
3. AlWAYS REST ON YOUR LEFT SIDE, SINCE IT ALLOWS MORE BLOOD FLOW TO YOUR BABY.

If you can somehow manage to carry this pregnancy for 3 more weeks, you' ll be in the safe zone. Delivery from 37th week is considered normal and those babies are not premature babies. And remember my case...my baby born at 34 weeks is doing just fine:) (if that gives you mental peace).

Again...take a deep breath, take complete bed rest, don' t do any physical work. Have faith in God.

Keep us updated. Good luck.
Aisha
