My husband was a nightmare, fighting for everything, hated my family for no reason and forced me into stop talking with my parents but demanding me to be good with his family.
Now I am divorced with a small kid. But now my family suggesting me to remarry saying it is tough to be single entire life. After facing so many issues, I simply dont want to remarry.
Can people please suggest why people opt to be single mothers than remarry, so i can convince my family. How to avoid replied. I am recently divorced with a 1.5 years old kid, so asking suggestions from people to make a good decision for myself, as I am yet not sure about whether my parents view is right. Not sure whether remarriage will be bad r good.

Think 100 times before coming to any decision now. Yes, its hard to be a single mother but its equally hard to adjust in a new relationship again. You have a child who' s totally dependent on you so every decision of yours would affect him.
I am also a single mother and would never going to think about re-marriage. The reasons behind my decision are:
1. I am financially independent and can take care of all the financial needs for myself and my son.
2. I can' t trust anyone whole heartdly again after being cheated once.
3. I have a family who supports me and respect my decison.
4. For me my son is my highest priority in life and I can' t put anyone before that. If a remarry I am 100% sure that I wont be giving the person love/affection that he wants.
5. No man on this earth can love someone else child. I may be wrong but this what I have found. I have seen woman taking care of their husbands children (from previous marriage) with love but never otherwise.

So my dear friend judge your condition on all these parameters and than decide.

Its tough to be single mother but its joyfull and fun. Me and my son live much more happily now and enjoy each other' s company.

It is very hard to make any decisions after going thru so much in your life. But all the persons won' t be like your ex-husband also, you might find a better person. Think about all the consequenses. In life there will be lot of problems, it just doesn' t come in only way - ' Husband' .
There will be plus and minus in life.
Your parents are telling this because of your future.
Just go thru the single parents section from this website and try to read all the messages, you will understand how difficult the life is as a single parent.
Anyways, decision is yours and you can wait for Mr.Right.

I dont say that you should not remarry but my dear think 100 times before taking any decision coz you have a small kid .The one you marry should also accept your child and it will also be little difficult to get married again also think when you get married and you have a child again there should Your first kid should not be avoided by him and his family You also think if you marry ur hubby will take his expenses . There are many things that you need to think before taking any decision . I am not demotivating you but still .Take advise of some you is also facing the same problem
